New Anthems V

New Anthems V is the latest chapter in the ongoing series, and was part of Brisbane Airport’s inaugural contemporary arts festival. This time it was Peter Allen’s cheesy paean to Aussie homesickness, rendered in massive helium filled custom designed balloons... “I still call Australia [home]________”

As with previous installations, by inserting words via SMS into iconic Australian texts, participants played with expressions of national identity.
