The Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) is an independent champion for preventing and ending homelessness in Australia. AAEH support individuals, organisations, governments, and local communities to work collaboratively to systemically end homelessness.
Advance to Zero is a groundbreaking national initiative of the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness. The campaign drives local communities to work strategically over four years, to reduce to zero the number of rough sleepers and homeless families living in cars and motels in their city.
Through the collective impact of communities across Australia working together around permanent housing, targeted, data-driven solutions, homelessness can be ended. Advance to Zero will register all homeless individuals and families in participating communities, manage data collection and performance tracking, and respond to system challenges in housing people experiencing homelessness.
The visual identity builds a sense of possibility, presenting the positive idea that eliminating homelessness is necessary and achievable.
The Australian Health, Housing and Homelessness Network brings together experts, researchers, practitioners and people with lived experience of the three sectors to support each other’s efforts to end homelessness.
Coordinated by AAEH, the network connects a diverse range of participants from around the country, aiming to better integrate policy, research and practice across the health, housing and homelessness sectors.
Inkahoots has designed monograms for a range of AAEH initiatives that configure their initialisms as bold typographic puzzles.
The inaugural Australian Zero Homelessness Summit brought together the nation’s organisations and communities committed to ending homelessness.
The summit provided the opportunity to hear directly from communities that have ended homelessness in both the United States and Canada, and showcased the efforts of the growing number of Australian communities seeking to end homelessness.
The identity Inkahoots designed for the summit included a bold ‘raising shelter’ arrow symbol that reflected the practical optimism of the participating organisations’ missions.
