This week is the last chance to check out Inkahoots' Food Futures at the Museum of Brisbane. Finishes on Sunday 29th October.
Test your core beliefs about food against your actual diet with the Food Values interactive quiz. You'll be designated a diet, not just based on what you eat, but on your critically examined attitudes to food.
Submit a photo of your favourite meal (at mymeal.pics), to be displayed with others in Food Impacts, a giant projected game-like interface, revealing the impact of climate change on the meal's key ingredients. With research from University of Melbourne and the Climate Council we've created a database of common ingredients that are automatically matched to visitors’ image submissions.
Navigate around submitted food images with joysticks designed to suggest food vessels, and that are made from food by-products (recycled macadamia nut shells – thanks Husque).
Then reflect with Food Dialogues and leave your own responses to questions about the future of food
