In celebration of last night's long overdue dumping of Prime Minister Tony “climate change is crap” Abbott here's a closer look at a poster we designed surveying a quarter of a century of climate change ‘progress’.
Designers around the world who had spoken at Melbourne's AGIdeas conference were invited to create a poster to mark the event's 25th year. The birth of this event coincidentally corresponded with Australia's initial political response to climate change.
From proposing a 20% emissions reduction in 1989, to the hottest ever year on record in 2014, the stalling and inaction of from both major parties is damning.
So farewell Tony “coal is good for humanity” Abbott. That's one down...
