Inkahoots have been asked to participate in Angola’s first ever exhibition and festival of contemporary graphic design. The 1st Semana de Design Gráfico Luanda 2013 will be held in Luanda from July 12th to July 20th.
From the organisers:
Angola, a country which has suffered 30 years of civil war and has been living in 10 years of intense economical growth, still has to catch up in many areas. There are no schools, academies or universities offering courses in graphic or communication design, so we see this project as its first small platform... The 1st Semana de Design Gráfico Luanda 2013 wants to be the meeting point for the (future) professionals, teachers and students of this part of the creative industry which will slowly grow over time with the country’s economy.
